Too many one star attacks... I know it happens sometimes but some people never seem to get more than one star in war attacks... we need some sort of plan to get better at this.
I know goblin army had an 81% destruction but only got one star because the dragons turned right instead of left (where TH was...) ugh..

Hmmmm... Difficult one this, but generally when you watch the replay you can tell whether it was a loot based attack or a valiant effort that went wrong. Trouble is, the lower players sometimes go for high level enemy for just one star to get massive bonus which doesn't help with the overall score. And recently our opponents are all putting in a massive effort which has resulted in some high scoring games. Need to try and educate some in the need to go for maximum stars instead of maximum loot

This war is hard to judge, a fewer mid level players attacked at the lower end of enemies. Which hinders the lower players... /shrugs

I've been in other clans where the rule was you had to hit within 3 of your number up or down. So someone ranked 8 could hit the enemies #5-11, but not their 1 or 22. That way it keeps everyone aiming at people their own size, not just going for easy wins. Other clans have a rule where you must 2 star your opposite number before you hit anyone else (unless its a huge mismatch). Would any of these help?

Sounds like a good idea Darken, which we potentially could use. And with that in place, people ( including myself) would not worry about lower mid enemy not being attacked as you know that the low lev members will be giving it a go and not just focusing on the loot. Though I am just a th8, when i look at my opposite, often recently i could get a star, and would be pushing luck for 2. 6 places down there would be a high level th7, which i know the players below me will struggle to wipe out, but I have a better chance of 3 star. So doing this could potentially mean less stars for the clan as we could be all struggling punching above our weight. Yeh i agree when you see someone in the top 10 go for near the bottom it isn't great, and that can be ironed out, but we need to make sure what we put in place doesn't affect the overall star count.

My only thing with that is the limit on going higher, sometimes goblin is able to three star higher due to his dragon addiction... (the bastard). I think it was last war where he three starred both the 10 and 11 of the enemy despite being our clans #16. But if everyone else likes the min and max limits for attacks I can make the adjustment as needed.

But i think going for a higher level shouldn't be a problem if you are genuinely going for 3 stars, it's the ones who only go higher for the loot bonus with max chance or troops of scoring 1star. Also going a bit lower shouldn't be a problem if going for those stars. Instead of going for a set number, why not say you can aim for th same or one below or above? Thoughts please guys as this is only an idea

So we have done a few wars with archers in the cc... I am not sure what others think but I am not seeing them do much and think wizards would be a better option? What do the rest think?

Yeh mixed result with the archer thing...seen some good outcomes with ours and also when against the enemy... But also just as many disappointments... The key to this is ensuring your cc is in the middle of base and as difficult to lure out the troops.

If I recall what I read right things are pulled out according to how much space they use up. So having a mix of archers and wizards or another troop could help delay troops coming out..

So instead of filling with all wiz or arch... Put in 1 wiz & 1 archer for every 5 spaces in a cc?

I think the main thing ismaking sure we all have our CC's in the centre of our base. We still have a couple people with SUPER easy to lure CC's.
